How to take care of them?
We recommend you start by exfoliating- exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells and dry skin, and speeds up the process of skin cleansing, in this case, lip cleansing. It keeps your lips healthy and removes all the impurities that might have accumulated on them. How you can exfoliate, you ask?
We have two words for you- Honey and Sugar. Okay, it’s three words but two ingredients.
It is extremely simple. Start off by mixing honey with sugar, more sugar than honey. Apply the thick mixture onto your lips and gently rub it in a circular motion. Leave it on for about 5 minutes. Then, rinse it off with cold water. You should always follow up exfoliation with moisturisation. To effectively hydrate, you can always go for milder ingredients like shea butter, even Vaseline.
Ensure that you don’t go overboard though, and remember to be gentle. Repeat this process twice a week. Alright, folks! That’s it from us. But remember, it’s always best to keep drinking loads of water to keep yourself and your lips hydrated.
